Rear leg

Gizmo is a beautiful 12 week old puppy looking for a warm, caring home.  He is looking for someone to love him just the way he is.  Someone who can look beyond his physical attributes, and into his heart which is sweet, happy, and full of love.   You see, Gizmo was born with 1 deformed leg.  The knee cap on his back leg is turned to the other side so he can not walk or run properly.  He is not in pain and has learned to use it for balance, and to walk, hop, and jump.  He will never be a dog you can walk far on a leash, but he is a dog that will shower you with kisses, lay his head on your shoulder, and sit on your lap for lots of cuddles!  Please do not think of his leg as a problem, but think of it as an opportunity to have a beautiful Shih Tzu in your lap or next to you for the rest of your life!  A friend that will thank you every day for “taking a chance” with him!

Is he “special Needs”?...Yes, but every dog has their special needs and quirks!  Gizmo’s personality and great health far exceed his misshapen leg.

He can not be neutered for several months, but his other vetting is up to date.
